Dr. Jeffrey T. Zigulis

Hello. Thank you for visiting the Advanced Eye Care website. I’m Dr. Jeffrey Zigulis.

Originally from Michigan, I received my Bachelors degree from Ferris State University. My post-graduate education was completed at the Illinois College of Optometry.

My professional career was launched working in established practices. This gave me the opportunity apply my education and hone my optical skills, while giving insight to how other organizations ran their businesses.

In these settings, I discovered that there was a need for an eye care facility that provided top notch customer service. To fill this need for exceptional, professional service, the Advance Eye Care - Bedford office opened in the fall of 2002 and our Dundee office opened in the fall of 2004.

I am fortunate to be the proud father of two wonderful kids- Jake 10 and Kaitlyn 12. They are the light of my life!

My hobbies include playing Texas Hold'em and Martial Arts. I am also an avid Red Wings fan and enjoy attending as many games as my schedule allows.

Ms. Krista L. Rosenberger

Hi, My name is Krista. I am an optician and ophthalmic technician at Dr. Zigulis' office. I have been working at Advanced Eye Care for over two years now and I still enjoy every moment. When I am not working, I am in class. I am currently attending Owens Community College for my nursing degree. I hope to specialize in geriatric nursing and upon graduation work as a registered nurse in a nursing home facility.

While I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my friends, watching hockey, eating hot wings and fixing up my new home.

I had glasses and contacts my whole life until recently when I decided to have Lasik surgery. I understand and empathize with anyone that has trouble with their glasses fitting, or the way they look. I try my best to help each and every patient find a frame that fits their face, their needs and their personality! Even though I no longer wear glasses, I look forward to helping you choose your next pair!

With all the up-to-date technology and equipment, I am very excited to be a part of the Advanced Eye Care team. I love watching how this practice has grown in just the two years I have been here and I look forward to the future. I look forward to meeting you and your family when you come to see us for your eye care needs.

Mrs. Sharon A. Vaughn

My purpose in life is to help others. As we are focused on providing superior customer service, I have the opportunity to truly help others with an invaluable gift- their eyesight.

It gives me great pleasure both personally and professionally to be part of the Advanced Eye Care teams in both the Bedford and Dundee offices.

It is wonderful to see our patients return each year, and especially fascinating to watch the children grow!

Ms. Katherine E. Rosenberger

Hello my name is Katie and I am an insurance specialist and ophthalmic technician here at Advanced Eye Care.

I am currently a student at Owens Community College majoring in Medical Imaging and Radiology. Once I graduate from Owens I plan on continuing my education.

Outside of work and school I like to dance, work out and shop. I also enjoy watching the Disney channel! I really enjoy working for Dr. Zigulis and with the rest of his staff. I look forward to seeing you and your family in our office soon!

Ms. Jenny Keller

Hello my name is Jenny Keller and I am an Insurance Specialist here at Advanced Eye Care. Although I am new to Dr. Zigulis’ office, I am not new to the optical field. I have worked in optical for over two years. I love learning about all of the ocular diseases and treatments. I also like assisting people in all their insurance and billing needs. Working here at Advanced Eye Care is so great because of the wonderful atmosphere and patients and staff will agree!

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and fiancé. I also enjoy working on my new home! In my spare time I also enjoy camping, riding my 4-wheeler and doing anything else outdoors.

Ms. Taylor K. Sanders

Hello! My name is Taylor Sanders and I am an Ophthalmic Technician here at Advanced Eye Care. I began working towards my Bachelor’s Degree at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and will be continuing my education at Bowling Green State University.

Although I am new to the optical field, I am enjoying learning about all the ocular diseases as well as all the latest technologies and equipment. I especially enjoy working with patients, getting to know them and assisting them in any of their optical needs. It puts a smile on my face when a patient comes in to pick up the glasses that we helped them select and see how happy it makes them to put on a nice new pair of frames that are perfectly suited to them.

When I am not at Advanced Eye Care, I also work as a waitress at Rosie’s Italian Grille in Toledo. Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time with friends and family as possible, going out to dinner, taking trips, and watching movies or anything on Bravo or the Food Network! I love to cook and entertain and like to have cook-outs at my house whenever it’s nice out. I am also a born and raised Cleveland sports fan and love cheering on the Browns, Cavs, Indians, and especially the Buckeyes!

I am really enjoying being a part of the team here at Advanced Eye Care, and I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment!
